About the Role

We are hiring on behalf of a global leader in the aviation sector, headquartered in the Dubai International Financial Centre (DIFC). We are seeking a highly analytical and detail-driven Financial Accountant to join their world-class finance team. This is a great opportunity for a qualified professional looking to work in a fast-paced, international environment that deals with high-volume intercompany transactions and complex financial structures.


Key Responsibilities

  • Accurately record and reconcile high-volume intercompany transactions across multiple legal entities.
  • Lead monthly bank reconciliations and coordinate with Accounts Payable, Lease Operations, and other departments to resolve variances.
  • Prepare summary reports of reconciliation status and unresolved items.
  • Assist in compiling monthly consolidated management accounts under IFRS, reported in USD.
  • Maintain general ledger integrity and support monthly account reconciliations using Oracle Financials.
  • Provide support during audits by preparing required documentation and addressing auditor queries.
  • Participate in finance-related projects and contribute to the optimization of internal processes.

Candidate Requirements

  • Chartered Accountant (CA, ACCA, CPA, or equivalent) with a minimum of 4 years’ post-qualification experience.
  • Strong expertise in Oracle Financials or similar ERP systems such as SAP.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel, capable of working with advanced financial models.
  • Solid understanding of IFRS standards and financial statement preparation.
  • Prior experience in capital structure accounting (debt and equity) and intercompany reconciliations is preferred.
  • Leasing industry experience is a plus, but not essential.
  • A proactive attitude with exceptional attention to detail and a continuous improvement mindset.
