Haier is Hiring: Join as Senior Assistant – Local Material Quality in Lahore
Haier, a globally recognized leader in home appliances and electronics, is currently hiring for the position of Senior Assistant – Local Material Quality (S3) at its Lahore facility. Job Responsibilities:
- Collect material specifications from the R&D department and perform thorough inspections of newly received materials as per approved standards.
- Coordinate with the inventory team to ensure accurate issuance of materials to vendors and subcontractors, aligning with locked standards for parts and grades.
- Collaborate with the R&D team to update the approved materials list in case of any design or material changes (ECN handling).
- Report and communicate material-related issues to the relevant Strategic Business Units (SBU), providing technical feedback and recommendations.
- Prepare and document claims for rejected materials and ensure timely follow-up with all stakeholders.
- Implement and monitor FIFO (First-In, First-Out) inventory methodology to maintain stock accuracy and prevent material quality degradation.
- Ensure strict adherence to ISO standards including ISO 9001:2015, ISO 14001:2015, and ISO 45001:2018. Assist in audits and compliance activities under the guidance of the Quality Manager.
Eligibility Criteria:
- Education: DAE or Graduation in a relevant field
- Experience: 2 to 3 years of hands-on experience in material quality management
