Head of Product Design and Visual Merchandising

Lead the development and execution of our furniture product design & visual merchandising. Requires a balance of creative direction, strategic leadership, & commercial acumen to elevate our brand identity & customer experience.

Role Description:

  • Lead the end-to-end furniture and Mattress & accessories product design process, from concept to final product.

  • Define and manage seasonal design directions aligned with market trends and customer needs.

  • Oversee material selection, prototyping, ergonomics, sustainability, and manufacturability.

  • Lead the R&D team, engineering, and sourcing teams for product innovation and quality assurance.

  • Develop compelling, brand-aligned visual merchandising & interior concepts for retail showrooms.

  • Set and implement merchandising guidelines and planograms to enhance customer engagement and sales performance.

  • Manage showroom layouts, product zoning, lighting, signage, and display techniques.

  • Lead in-store and seasonal campaign execution with cross-functional teams.

Qualification & Experience:

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Industrial Design, Interior Design, Visual Merchandising

  • 10+ years of experience in furniture product design and visual merchandising

Skills:

  • Proficiency in design and visualization tools (e.g., AutoCAD, SketchUp, Adobe Creative Suite)
