We are seeking top talent for the following positions:

HEAD OF STRATEGIC PLANNING AND POLICY UNIT

Project Scale: PPS-11
No. of Position: 1
Location: Islamabad
Age: Maximum 62 years on closing of date of application.
Duration of Contract: 03 years (extendable on the basis of satisfactory performance).

Qualification:

• PhD (Economics / Public Policy) from a reputed HEC recognized National / International University with ten (10) years professional experience including 3 years’ experience at policy making level in the field of Economic/ Planning/ Development.
  OR
• Masters (Economics/ Public Policy) from a reputed HEC recognized National / International University with fourteen (14) years professional experience including 3 years’ experience at policy making level in the field of economic/ development.

Job Description:
The Head of Strategic Planning and Policy Unit is expected to lead the design and development of strategic national development plans in identifying emerging opportunities and addressing long term challenges, ensuring alignment with national priorities and international best practices and initiatives. The incumbent will conduct situational analyses, identify gaps and challenges, develop strategic responses for national development, and collaborate closely with government, private sector, civil society, academia and think tanks. He/She will oversee research, data analysis, and formulation of evidence-based policy recommendations.

Qualification:

• PhD (Economics/ Public Policy/ Social Sciences) from a reputed HEC recognized National / International University with ten (10) years professional experience including 3 years’ experience at policy making level in the field of social sector planning & development or economic planning & development.
  OR
• Masters (Economics/ Public Policy/ Social Sciences) from a reputed HEC recognized National / International University with fourteen (14) years’ professional experience including 3 years’ experience at policy making level in the field of social sector or economic planning & development.

Job Description:
The Head of Sectoral Transformation Units will provide strategic leadership for the implementation of URAAN Pakistan under the 5Es framework – Exports, Pakistan, Environment, Energy, and Equity within the National Economic Transformation Initiative. The incumbent will oversee implementation of Uraan Pakistan’s sectoral plans, and ensure sectoral coordination. A key responsibility will include conducting foresight and horizon scanning to analyze national and global trends, identifying emerging threats, and explore strategic opportunities to inform long-term planning. The role requires strong engagement with stakeholders across federal and provincial governments, private sector, civil society, and international partners.

HEAD OF SUPPORT UNIT

Project Scale: PPS-11
No of Position: 1
Location: Islamabad
Duration of Contract: 03 years (extendable on the basis of satisfactory performance).
Age: Maximum 62 years on closing of date of application.

Qualification:

• PhD (Public Administration / Business Administration/ Management/ Finance, or a related field) from a reputed HEC recognized National / International University with ten (10) years’ professional experience including 03 years’ experience in a similar leadership role, preferably within a large project or organization.
  OR
• Masters (Public Administration / Business Administration/ Management/ Finance, or a related field) from a reputed HEC recognized National / International University with fourteen (14) years’ professional experience including 5 years’ experience similar leadership role, preferably within a large project or organization.

Job Description:
Head of Support Unit will be responsible for leading, managing, and ensuring the efficient delivery of all administrative, financial, procurement, analytics and logistical support services across the National Economic Transformation Unit. This position demands strong leadership in support services, the ability to work collaboratively with technical and strategic teams, and proven competence in managing multidisciplinary functions within large-scale development programmes.
