Job Description
The National School of Public Policy (NSPP), Government of Pakistan invites applications from eligible candidates for regular appointments to several vacant positions at its Lahore campus. The positions include:
- Director (IT) (BS-19, EX-PASC) – 1 post (Lahore): Requires MS/M.Phil or equivalent in Computer Sciences, Computer Engineering, IT, or Software Engineering from an HEC-recognized institution. A minimum of 10 years of professional experience in software development, requirement analysis, implementation, and IT/networking infrastructure is needed. Age limit is 40 to 45 years.
- Research Associate (BS-19, NIPP) – 4 posts (Lahore): Requires Doctorate/M.Phil/1st Class Master’s degree in Public Policy, Finance, HR, Law, Education, etc., with 4 years of research or teaching experience. Preference is given to PhD holders and those with education in M.A. or M.Ed. Age limit is 40 to 45 years.
- Senior Research Associate (BS-18, EX-PASC) – 2 posts (Lahore): Requires a Master’s in Public Administration, Business Administration, or any Social Science with at least 5 years of relevant experience. PhD holders may have relaxed experience requirements. Age limit is 35 to 40 years.
- Deputy Director (IT) (BS-18, EX-PASC) – 1 post (Lahore): Requires a Master’s or Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, Statistics, or Engineering. A minimum of 5 years’ experience in computer programming and training in system analysis is required. Age limit is 35 to 40 years.
- Research Associate (BS-17, EX-PASC) – 3 posts (Lahore): Requires a Master’s in Public or Business Administration or related Social Sciences. Age limit is 30 to 35 years.
- IT/AVAO (BPS-17, PASC) – 1 post (Lahore): Requires an MS/CS/BCS/BSCE in Computer Science with at least 5 years of experience in IT operations within a corporate setting. Age limit is 30 to 35 years.
Age relaxation is allowed under specific categories:
- 3 years for scheduled castes, Buddhist community, tribal areas, Azad Kashmir, and Northern Areas.
- 15 years or equal to service duration for retired personnel of the Armed Forces.
- 10 years for government employees with at least 2 years of service (up to age 55).
- 10 years for disabled persons (for BPS-15 and below).
- 5 years for children of deceased civil servants.

Only shortlisted candidates will be called for interview. No TA/DA will be provided. Application packages must include completed forms, attested copies of documents, CNIC, CV, and two passport-sized photos.
