Government of Pakistan – Strategic Policy Planning Cell (SPPC) Career Opportunities 2025

The National Security Division, Government of Pakistan, has announced multiple high-profile management positions within the Strategic Policy Planning Cell (SPPC) based in Islamabad. These vacancies are aimed at experienced professionals who possess exceptional expertise in security studies, international law, public policy, and strategic communications.

Available Positions Include:

Chairman, SPPC (MP-I)
Responsible for leading national security policy development, research, and strategic communication initiatives. Candidates must hold a Ph.D. or MPhil/Master’s degree with at least 8–12 years of relevant experience in government or policy research roles.

Legal Advisor on National Security (MP-I)
A senior advisory role focused on international law and national security policy formulation. Applicants should have a Ph.D. in International Law and a minimum of 8 years of relevant experience, including leadership positions.

Senior Policy Specialists – Traditional and Non-Traditional Security (MP-I)
Positions requiring demonstrated experience in security policy, strategic research, and non-traditional security domains such as economic policy and development studies.

Policy Experts (MP-II)
Roles dedicated to research, policy development, and implementation in traditional and non-traditional security areas. Minimum qualifications include a Ph.D. or equivalent with 5–8 years of professional experience.

Research Specialists – Traditional Security, Non-Traditional Security, International Law (MP-III)
Positions focused on research, analysis, and coordination with think tanks, academia, and international organizations. These roles are suited for professionals with 3–5 years of experience and advanced academic qualifications.

Key Highlights:

  • All positions are open to Pakistani nationals only.
  • Candidates must be of sound mental and physical health.
  • The initial contract period is three years, extendable based on performance.
  • Selected professionals will be offered competitive remuneration as per the Government MP-Scale Package.
