The Punjab Provincial Cooperative Bank Limited, established in 1924 & scheduled since 1955, having a network of 151 branches in the province of Punjab, with Head Office at Lahore, is looking for dynamic & high achieving individuals for the following positions.
Positions for SVP / Zonal Heads (04)
Zones: Bahawalpur, D.G Khan, Multan & Gujranwala
Qualification: MBA, MA (Economics), M.Com, MPA (relevant master’s degree)
Experience: Minimum 10 years post qualification experience, with at least 05 years in a similar position (field) in the Bank / financial institution
Age Limit: 40–65 years
Roles & Responsibility:
- Ability to manage operations of branches efficiently including lending, product sales, customer services, Risk Management, security & safety in accordance with the Bank’s policy / applicable laws, particularly cooperative societies laws.
- Deposit Mobilization, loan business, supervision level of customer’s relations, promote product sales & services culture through coaching, guidance and staff motivation to achieve the organizational goals through branch sales referrals and retention of account relationships.
- Ability to think strategically, strong analytical skills, execute effectively in a fast-paced environment, provide leadership, training and supervision / delegation of day-to-day operations, business to branch managers and other branch personnel.
- Manage, monitor, supervise and control affairs of the branches in the Zone in line with credit & operational guidelines assigned from Head Office.
- Get implemented the policies, plans and instructions of the Bank.
- Exercise business administrative, financial and operational powers as per laid down delegation policies.
- Keep a close watch on the financial performance of the Zone i.e. periodical review of business KPIs, income/expenditure and monitoring in this regard.
- Plan & monitor business i.e. credit targets, deposit targets, and other banking services among branches and staff in the light of annual plans and to ensure their achievement and to take necessary action on non-achievement.
- Conduct inspection and to pay surprise visit of the branches as per standing instructions and to arrange compliance of the objections and removal of irregularities / discrepancies as highlighted by Internal or External Auditors.
- Suggest and recommend for improvement of the matters relating to the Bank.
- Monitor recovery of loans and disbursement of loans by the Branches. Emphasis should be to reduce and recover NPLs.
- Carry out any assignment given by the Head Office.
Pay Package:
Negotiable, depending upon the Qualifications & Experience of the candidate.
