SECP Career Opportunities – Joint Director & Additional Joint Director (June 2025)

The Securities and Exchange Commission of Pakistan (SECP), the apex regulator of the capital market and corporate sector, has announced new career opportunities for dynamic and qualified professionals. These Islamabad-based positions in the Supervision Division are designed for individuals with a strong background in accounting, finance, regulatory compliance, and oversight.

Available Positions:
✅ Joint Director / Additional Joint Director – 02 Positions

Eligibility Criteria:

• Qualification:
  Master’s or Bachelor’s degree (equivalent to 16 years of education) in Accounting or Finance from an HEC-recognized reputable university/institute or be a qualified CA, CMA, ACCA, or Actuary.
• Experience:

  • Joint Director: Minimum 10 years of post-qualification experience in capital markets, insurance, actuarial functions, audit, regulatory compliance, and oversight.
  • Additional Joint Director: Minimum 8 years of post-qualification experience in the same domains.
  • For Chartered Accountants, articleship will be considered part of the required experience.

Age Limit:
The maximum age should not exceed 45 years on the last date of application submission.

Nature of Employment:

• Joint Director appointments will be contract-based for three years, extendable based on performance and organizational needs.
• SECP may consider regularizing the Joint Director role after the initial term, subject to prescribed criteria.
• Additional Joint Director appointments will be on a regular basis.
