State Bank of Pakistan Announces SBOTS 28th Batch – Apply Now for Assistant Director (OG-2)

The State Bank of Pakistan (SBP), the nation’s central bank, has opened applications for its 28th Batch of State Bank Officers Training Scheme (SBOTS). The selected candidates will be appointed as Assistant Director (OG-2) and will be based at SBP’s Principal Office in Karachi.

Eligibility Criteria:

Educational Qualification:

Applicants must possess a 16-year degree (Bachelor’s/Master’s) from HEC-recognized institutions in Pakistan or abroad, with:

  • Minimum 60% marks or

  • CGPA of 2.5/4.0 or 3.5/5.0

Eligible disciplines include:

  • Business Administration, Public Administration

  • Economics, Finance, Commerce, Accounting

  • Statistics, Data Sciences, Actuarial Sciences

  • Computer Science, Information Systems/Technology

  • Mathematics, Human Resource Management

  • Agriculture Management (excluding pure agriculture degrees)

  • Islamic Banking & Finance, Law, Media & Culture Studies, Philosophy, Physics

Note: Foreign degree holders must submit an equivalency certificate from HEC.

Age Limit:

  • Maximum age: 26 years as of June 29, 2025

  • Relaxation: Up to 3 years for:

    • Female candidates

    • Minorities

    • Transgender persons

    • Candidates from Balochistan, GB, AJK, and former FATA areas
